Changing lives by advancing physical therapy in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Physical Therapy Foundation (OPTF) is a non-profit organization that provides funds for physical therapy education, research, and community services that positively impact Oklahomans.

Grant programs for physical therapists

Since 2003, we’ve been advancing the field of physical therapy in Oklahoma through grant programs that support three key areas.

Research Grants

Funding to assist primarily new physical therapist investigators and encourage research that improves physical therapy in Oklahoma.

Educational Grants

Funding for educational programs that support professionals in physical therapy and may include support to individuals in the community.

Community Services Grants

Funding for community service projects related to physical therapy, physical activity, fitness, health, wellness, and/or prevention.

Making a difference in the lives of Oklahomans

Since 2003, Oklahoma Physical Therapy Foundation has been making a difference in the lives of Oklahomans by funding research, education, and community services in the field of physical therapy, including multiple grants for physical therapy centers who provide free services to those in need.

I wouldn’t have been able to go back to work without their help. They’re wonderful people. They really care, and they really know what they’re doing.”

“In my situation, you really feel lost. You don’t know what to expect, what’s next, or where to go. When I found the Nate Waters Clinic, it was an answer to prayer.
